This document sets out the arrangements for the distribution by the Office for Students (OfS) of capital grant for the financial year (April to March) 2025-26.

We will distribute capital funding for eligible providers through two mechanisms:

  • £72.75 million through a single bidding exercise, with capital monies to be distributed and spent over the financial year to March 2026. The competition is open to all providers that are registered in the Approved (fee cap) category.
  • £7.75 million through formula funding, which will be confirmed for individual providers in autumn 2025. For further information click here
